Learn How to Write A "Killer" Crime Story at Script-Com!

Updated: Oct 19

Whether they're called "crime thrillers." "mysteries," or "neo-noirs," the detective story still endures on the big and small screen, often crossing over into completely new genres.

On November 16 at the Script-Com Screenwriters Conference, film industry professionals Steve Anderson, Clay Stafford, and Steven Womack host "The Detective's Journey," a workshop on writing crime thrillers and mysteries for television and film.

Steve Anderson is the creator of several crime thrillers including White Orchid, The River Murders, and The Big Empty. Clay Stafford is a former development executive, an author, and the creator of the legendary Killer Nashville writers conference. Steven Womack has written several TV and cable productions and has years of experience as a screenwriting instructor.

Tickets to Script-Com are available now at www.ScriptCom.org. Discounts are available for students, members of the Tennessee Screenwriting Association, and members of SAG-AFTRA Nashville.

The Script-Com Screenwriters Conference is sponsored by the Tennessee Screenwriting Association and co-sponsored by  Tennessee Entertainment Commission, Nashville Film Institute, SAG-AFTRA, Film-Com, Final Draft and Coverfly.
