Veteran screenwriting instructor Rick Reichman will lead a workshop called "Screenwriting Confidential" at the Script-Com Screenwriters Conference, held at Nashville Film Institute on Nov. 16.

Reichman's workshop focuses on the three-act structure, how to develop plot and characters, how to skillfully include exposition, and the all-important ingredient for any successful screenplay: reversals.

Rick has taught screenwriting at the University of Virginia, American University, Georgetown University, Santa Fe Community College, Watkins College, Nashville Film Institute and at conferences and writers' retreats across the country. His students would go on to careers on productions like 'Home Improvement,' 'Roseanne,' The Nanny,' 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer', 'Xena: Warrior Princess,' 'Murphy Brown,' 'Crossing Jordan,' 'Family Law,' 'Person of Interest,' 'The Mentalist,' and the recent reboot of 'Magnum P.I.,' among others. He has authored two books on screenwriting, 20 Things You Must Know to Write a Great Screenplay and Formatting Your Screenplay, which is in its fourth printing. Find out more about Rick at his website, www.screenplayconfidential.com.
