'Reagan' & 'Space Cowboys' Writer Howard Klausner Appearing at Script-Com!

Howard Klausner, writer of the recent film 'Reagan' starring Dennis Quaid, Jon Voight, and Penelope Ann Miller, will be an instructor at the Script-Com Screenwriters Conference on November 16 at Nashville Film Institute.


Klausner is a Tennessee native and has worked in the film industry for decades. He was the co-writer of the hit film 'Space Cowboys,' starring Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, James Garner, Donald Sutherland, and Marcia Gay Harden. Klausner has also written and directed films for both Hollywood and independent studios including 'The Identical,' 'Hoovey,' 'God's Not Dead,' and 'The Secret Handshake' among many others. Klausner has also recently appeared on Page 2 Screen, a streaming series about screenwriting and independent filmmaking produced by the Tennessee Screenwriting Association. Klausner brings his knowledge and experience of working in the film business and writing as an instructor at Script-Com.



Script-Com will be held at the Nashville Film Institute on Saturday, Nov. 16 and at the NECAT studio on Sunday, Nov. 17. Tickets for Script-Com are available now at www.scriptcom.org.
